MISSION
Project Community is a collective of LGBTQ, BIPOC and Neurodivergent businesses, makers, and community members that seek to see the great successes of people like us. Our ultimate goal is to learn, grow and thrive as a community.
VISION
To assist our community in reaching their goals through access and exposure.

GOAL
To purchase a brick and mortar space. The storefront will act as a place for our collective to sell their wares, have a cup of tea and commune. We envision having an events space as well to provide a safe space for members of our community to express their creativity in a safe and loving environment.
ABOUT US
Safe Space and Project CommuniTEA are working together to purchase a brick and mortar. We believe it is important to create safe and supportive space for BIPOC, Neurodivergent, and LGBTQ+ folks to create, share joy and support, and thrive together. We want to build a dedicated space to highlight and celebrate the creations of those who are often left out because of who they are.
1st Phase: Create a small outdoor venue at Project CommuniTEA's tea farm for our community to have tea and small intimate gatherings with Safe Space makers, while continuing to raise capital for our brick and mortar.
2nd Phase: Purchase a building that will fit our needs. We want to create a local gift shop that displays local wares from our Safe Space artist and makers, have a tea bar run by Project CommuniTEA and some space for events.
Imagine: Do you remember the coffee shop Brick & Mortar Coffee that was in Carytown? That! But, with our own unique twist.
3rd Phase: Renovate, stock, hire employees, and invite the community to share in the work they helped us build.
